04-Jan-2010 CHANGE IN BIAZZI MANAGEMENT 2010 will see some changes in BIAZZI Management: End of January 2010, Dr Gerard Fierz, present CEO, will retire of its executive position after 33 years at the service of the company. He will however remain present in the company as non executive member and Delegate of the Board of Directors. Pierre Marmillod, presently Executive Director Technical & Marketing, will take over the CEO position for a fairly short period till end of July. He will then retire too, remaining also as non executive member of the Board of Directors. The CEO position will then be occupied by Dr Jean-Pierre Landert, presently Head of Process Technology Department. He will be already in charge of heading the administration and financial services of the company from January 2010. All other present key officers of BIAZZI will remain active, i.e. Serge Egloff, Head of Explosives Projects and Head of Construction ; Bernard Hayoz, Head of Chemical Projects ; Dr Moritz Mühlemann, Head of Technical Development and Bruno Tettamanti, Head of Marketing and Sales. Martin Ekstrand will take over the responsibility of the Process Technology Department and Pascal Heitzmann will be the right arm of Bernard Hayoz.
