Borsodchem orders large DNT line to Biazzi Switzerland

A first DNT (dinitrotoluene) plant delivered by BIAZZI to BorsodChem within their TDI manufacturing complex in Kazincbarcika (Hungary) is running successfully since year 2001 at full capacity.

Within the framework of the actual important extension of their TDI plant, Borsodchem selected again Biazzi SA for the delivery of a new DNT line of 190'000 MTPY capacity.

BIAZZI shall deliver the extended basic engineering package and the process equipment for this new production line, while the EPC services shall be provided by local contractors. The new plant is scheduled to be operational in Q1 2009.
